Impressions of the Vallnord XCO

I spent a hunk of time on Sunday watching replays of the Men’s and Women’s XCO races from Vallnord, Andorra (seemingly the closest I get to actually racing these days). I have to say I was impressed  and unimpressed with a few things. The following are my unsolicited and most likely unwanted comments, possibly written for no other reason than to use the words impressed and unimpressed as many times as I can in a blog post.

UCI XC Eliminator Round 3

Eliminator World Cup leaders Alexandra Engen
and Daniel Federspiel dominate at third round.

The third round of the Eliminator series at the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup presented by Shimano saw the overall leaders for both the men’s and women’s series taking convincing wins in Val di Sole, Italy, on Thursday. World Champion Alexandra Engen (Ghost Factory) won her second World Cup of the year in the women’s category, as did Daniel Federspiel (Otztal Scott) in the men’s race. Continue Reading →
