Ride Sun Valley Mountain Bike Festival Hosts
Rebecca Rusch’s 2013 SRAM Gold Rusch Tour
Hundreds of mountain bikers to descend on Sun Valley, Idaho to race, ride, and celebrate the bike with Ride Sun Valley and the SRAM Gold Rusch Tour – Reba’s Ride Camp.
Ketchum, ID (13 June, 2013)–The now-world-famous Ride Sun Valley Mountain Bike Festival is returning to Idaho again in early July and with it, world champion mountain biker Rebecca Rusch is hosting a week-long series of rides, clinics, and parties to celebrate the best of the bike, all in her own hometown. These events are designed to complement much of the programming associated with the Festival, including the USA Cycling Marathon National Championship Race, which promises to attract the biggest names in the sport of mountain biking. The Sun Valley area has enjoyed being one of the International Mountain Bike Association’s Epic Ride Centers for several years, making its hundreds of miles of singletrack an ideal home for events like the Ride Sun Valley Festival and for athletes like Rusch.
“I could have chosen any place to live and I’m proud to call Ketchum and the Sun Valley area home,” says Rusch. “That I get to show that off to everyone, especially women who are looking to grow in a sport that I’m passionate about, is a real gift. I look forward to helping them ‘ride like a local’ in one of my favorite places on earth.”
As ever, the events of Reba’s Ride Camp support the SRAM Gold Rusch Tour goal of getting more women on bikes, enjoying the sport and driving all the benefits of fitness and a healthy, outdoor lifestyle.
